It features QMK custom keyboard firmware that is a must for the true mechanical keyboard enthusiast. It offers different levels of customizability. The keyboard has been preloaded with Vial, a branch of QMK that allows one to fully customize the keyboard straight out of the box with no programming knowledge required using the Vial GUI. If you prefer to use the original barebones QMK, once inside the Vial GUI, you can set the keyboard to bootloader mode and upload a QMK keymap of your choosing.
Using Vial, you can completely customize the keymap such as remap the keys to different locations, program custom macros, or even have different layers that change key functionality for different situations.
For those who know how to program, directly editing the QMK open source firmware opens up a whole new world of possibilities including adding custom RGB LED animations and controlling the fine details of keyboard functionality.
This keyboard comes barebones so that you can customize it with your ideal switches and keycaps. The hotswap sockets are compatible with all MX type switches. (All of our available switches are compatible) and also uses 61 keycaps from any standard mechanical keyboard keycap set.
