It is not intentional and the J key should have a homing bar. Yours most likely is a manufacturing defect. No worries though! Open a support ticket and provide a photo of the defective keycap if possible and we'll get a replacement key out to you!
I have the womier k66, would I be able to switch this set's side legend numpad's zero key to a blank one from the blank rainbow jelly set? Since the Womier uses a nonstandard 2u size for the right shift key

We are not able to mix and match from different sets unfortunately, but overall, there is not much of an aesthetic difference if you use the zero key from the numpad in place of the shift key as the legends are sideprinted.
